You have a Stampin’ Up Demonstrator 😄 in the house!
After many years of enjoying Close To My Heart as a shopper, Consultant, hobbyist, and a Maker, a transition began when the announcement of CTMH coming to a close a few months ago. To say the least it has been an emotional journey. CTMH was my salvation in many more ways than one. They’ve been a part of my life since I was first introduced in the fall of 2006.
A community of friends, an extended family and the one stability throughout the last 20+ years. Speaking of community, CTMH gave me meaningful friendships from all over. Some are through FB, Blogging, YouTube and more. I have many friends from hosting clubs, having gatherings, and trips to retreats. We are a community like non others. We’ve helped each other in many different ways depending on the need or want. I’ve learned a lot from many in this community and I know most of us will always have a connection that will never be broken. So, my wish for all whom transitioned or chose a path that was beast for them, May life continue to show you grace, success, joy, happiness and contentment. I send hugs and love on your new journey.
Between CTMH and Stampin’ Up’s leadership, the care, and their constant “putting the Makers first” has been beyond amazing. Transitioning has not been easy as I have had other life changes that put my decision on hold. Also, I know I will take one step at a time and not put myself into the frenzy; not a good thing for my health or sanity. I cannot imagine the legal adjustments, the hours, and the uncertainty that all the staff, leaders, warehouse, art staff and other workers have been through. It was a quick turnaround but they made sure we had some where to go that was similar in values as well as had a stable future. I am very thankful for that.
So, as I begin this new journey, I hope you will join me. May 1, 2024 is the start of creating, teaching, sharing and learning new things. SU has a few products that were transferred from CTMH that would have been debut over the next two months. Not all products were available. That’s OK!
We will have the best of both worlds and SU will have both card and scrapbooking supplies. I look forward to creating and combining the art. We will have fun.
In the meantime, I’m setting up a new FB Group and a FB page along with YouTube. All of this takes time to set up. Be patient and I will up date as everything comes together. I hope you take a moment, introduce yourself, let me know what type of paper crafting projects you like and if there are classes, techniques, or information you would like to see.
